Yeah, love "Stairway," but it is the song one thinks of when they think of Zepplin. Can't say I've every liked Pink Floyd though...I've just never been able to get into them.

Pink Floyd is awesome! But not everybody likes him, but they don't have to! Everybody's got their own taste in music...right?
I'm listening to Metallica 24/7 right now. I've put Black Sabbath to the side, and I'm focusing on Metallica. They are going to perform in the Netherlands, which of course is awesome! So I have to learn the songs again, for when I'm going YAY!

I actually just bought the Goo Goo Dolls cd. Not the new one. The one with Iris and Slide on it. I LOVE Iris, so I decided to buy the whole cd. Also, I've been listening to my Matchbox 20 cd alot lately.

Hey all! I'm new to the board and anyone who knows me (like you all will soon!) knows that I CANNOT resist these "What are you listening to" threads. In the three CD changer...

VENUS HUM - Big Beautiful Sky (they sound like Bjork and as a lifelong SUGARCUBES fan, I am all about this. I heard it at my coffee place and I fell for it right off. Plus these guys guest star on that BLUE MAN GROUP CD called The Complex that is coming out. It has DAVE MATTHEWS on it, so I guess that's cool if you're into him. I just like them because they're Smurf-like and do Pentium commercials).

THE D4 - 6Twenty (They remind me of old rock stuff I used to listen to like THE MC5 and IGGY & THE STOOGES. I'm a sucker for the one-two punch of rock music. I heard about them in an interview I read with Dave Grohl. Apparently he thinks they're drummer is totally the man and what not. That's cool, right?)

WHITE LIGHT MOTORCADE - Thank You, Goodnight! (I hated this band the first time I saw them but after a few listens they started reminding me of my favorite band of last year, BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB. I think I was just turned off by the similarities in their names. They're on tour with THE MOONEY SUZUKI, who I think totally suck, and THE RAVEONETTES, who I like OK on the MTV2 Advance Warning Tour dealie. I'm gonna go for WLM though. They're actually really good live once you have the album and know the songs.)

Right now I'm listening "My Generation" the theme song from "American Dreams". It's a happy, stand up and dance song. I also love:
-Roswell Soundtrack
-A Walk to Remember Soundtrack (Awesome!)
I don't really have any fav.groups, just songs so I have a lot of my own burnt CD's.

I'm not sure which Avril one I have right now- but it's awefully addicting at times.
My favorite soundtrack used to be the City of Angels one.. but it broke in half. Love the GGD on it though!

Ooh, I really like Evanescence..not sure if I spelled that right.. but I want the CD! They are very good, a bit of a stray from the norm.

Welcome to the board Lady Mel! I haven't heard of any of those bands, but they sound interesting.. haha, well, Dave Grohl is pretty cool so I think you can trust his opinion.. especially since he's a big fan of Zeppelin =D

Right now, I'm in love with the song "Clocks" by Coldplay.. it's really good, makes me kind of sad though.. I want that CD too!
