andy m. stewart-is a scottish folksinger who has written many of his own wonderful songs...as well as playing many astounding rendtiions of traditional material...
pete seeger-a folksinger who in his mid to late 80's still plays and sings...he and his band the Weavers were black listed during the HUAC hearings...he stood up to them saying that he was willing to talk about himself and his music...but nothing else...he was also a good personal friend of Woody Guthrie who wrote this land is your land...but only three verses of that song get sung...
Christy moore-is an irish folksinger who does not play that much anymore but the songs he sings are still strong...and catching...
Eric bogle-is a scottish singer/songwriter who has lived in Australia for the last 33 years...but goes touring...it is in Oz that he made a name for himself...with his song And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda...a song like his (no man's land) that quickly entered the traditional repertoire...
jez lowe-is a singer songwriter from the northeast of england...coal mining country...luckily his music allowed him to escape the mines...He also has a few songs that have entered the tradition...such as balck diamonds...
the pogues-an irish punk band...who also played alot of traditional music...they were once with Shane MacGowan...a fien songwriter if a bit of a drunk...he has written wonderful songs like Fairytale Of new york...a pair of brown eyes...
john hartford-he was a bluegrass/folk musician...singer songwriter...who wrote many wonderful tunes in his lifetime...such as Gentle On My Mind...he once was a riverboat pilot on the mississippi...who eventually left the river to follow his music...but he never forgot his love for the boats...

Meowth! LOVE Zepplin! What's your favorite song? I, of course, have too many. But my most favorite, I would have to say is Kashmir.

Oh gosh favorite song?! I don't know, there are so many! Yeah, Kashmir is awesome.. but I love Ramble On, Battle of Evermore, Over the Hills and Far Away, The Ocean.. The Song Remains the Same.. lol, okay.. so that's around.. 5 or 6 songs but I can't really choose one favorite as of now.. I think it depends on my mood

Yeah, that is a good song too! But I think it's overrated because that's the one song they're REALLY well known for.. you know.. like Pink Floyd and the Wall pt. 2. Still an awesome song tho

Well thats true, but it remains a great song! I love Pink Floyd! The Wall pt 2 is great, but the Dark side of the moon is also a great album!
