The talk has been flying that The OC will relive Fox's earlier 90210/Melrose Place years. What do we think about that?

90210 started my "almost" obesession with TV *wipes tear from eye* it hold a very special place in my heart - bring on The OC!

I watched Melrose I'd say about 50% of the time...it was pretty damn good. But I think I liked 90210 better because they were closer to my age as it was on. I mean when 90210 started I was like in 6th grade or something

I watched up till like the 8th year of 90210, because Dawson's had started and the taping thing bothered the hell out of me.

I voted other only because I was laughing my ass off at Kris - who put it as an option.

I've got to start watching some TV, so I can see these commercials.

90210 was my first obsession in the world of television. I watched up until the very last episode, even though it was pretty much crap the last 2 seasons. So I may have to check this one out if they're calling it the new 90210. Could be interesting.

I wonder if the OC is in the same Universe as Melrose and 90210 & Melrose Place. I think it would be funny as hell If Heather Locklear's Amanda showed up. It wouldn't be terribly hard seeing her fit in with some of the people in the previews. It kinda might take away from the new characters by bring in a character established in another show. Also that would kinda make it a spin-off of melrose which was a spin off of 90210... forget this idea ever existed too many variables that would end up killing the heart of the series. I really gotta keep these ideas to myself once in a while.
