Ok, Where the hell are the positive choices? They all seem aimed at it's immediate doom. I know last season certainly wasn't the year for supernatural dramas, but I think a show like Tru calling could turn that around. Or maybe not I hear it has a suck time slot against Survivor and Friends. I'm starting to think the WB learned everything they Know from FOX. They both seem to know full well how to kill a promising new series right out of the gate. I'm still out for blood for the total BS surrounding Birds of Prey's cancellation. Hopefully Tru Calling can somehow rise above and kick some sitcom/reality TV ass. :bat

You know what, Mr. J.? You are totally right. I didn't even realize I didn't have a "positive" response up there. My bad. :sad

As far as the time slot...I'm hoping it will rise above Survivor. I am so damn tired of these reality shows I could puke! :barf

And with Buffy gone, I hope this will help ease that void that was left behind. Eliza is a wonderful actress and hopefully the rest of the cast will help kick ass! :grin

I totally agree that the reality monster must be destroyed...but I kinda like Survivor. It's the one that started it all, which probably means it won't end till the "mom" goes down. Evcen though I like Survivor, I'm still gonna get hooked on Tru Calling, which is why there's VCRs. It would be nice if the networks would limit themselves to to 2 reality shows instead of 6 per network. It gets a little disturbing when you have more regular joes taking up screen time than actual acting talent.I think if Tru calling can kick the crap out of Friends, then it'll have a chance. I'm not happy about it's timeslot, but I guess we'll see what she can do come fall. :bat

Same here, Cory! I absolutely despise reality shows--every last one of them. They're all nothing but a bunch of whiny, backstabbing people who have nothing better to do than humiliate themselves on national television.

As for Tru Calling, I think the premise sounds promising, and I would probably like it if I watched. Unfortunately, I honestly don't think it stands a chance up against the last season of Friends (which I will faithfully be watching every Thursday night) and Survivor. Fox really should give it a different timeslot if they want this show to last.

See, I love Friends. I've watched it from the first season. However, I haven't really watched it much this past season and I'm not sure how much I'll watch it next. I KNOW I'll watch the finale for sure, but... :dunno

With something new and exciting to watch, I'll just have to see.

I'm still pissed that FOX was being such an asshole that they couldn't bother airing one last episode and instead aired some reruns of Simple Life. :barf
