(Katrillion) -- The 2002 Teen Choice Awards may not be airing until Aug. 19, but Katrillion brings you a sneak peek of the big night that will more than whet your appetite.

There may be plenty of "Friends" action throughout the awards show, but the big stunners of the night will certainly be the killer musical acts. From Nelly's "hot" opening to the energetic debut performance by Jennifer Love Hewitt, the joint was jumpin'!

In addition to the rockin' musical acts, you'll find out who was blackmailing Britney, which American Idol was dancing up a storm to Nelly and why Chris Kirkpatrick was carrying a "sonar" detector on stage.

But enough about the show, we've got even better dirt about the action on the red carpet and backstage.

I saw Jennifer Love Hewitt's performance, not bad. I actually liked the song and she performed it well.

I wtahced it. Wasn't NW nominated for Choice Sidekick or somethin? He didn't win goddamn.

I liked Nelly's performance. Jennifer Love Hewitt wasn't bad, but when they said she was performing BareNaked, I actually thought she'd be naked I was like WTF?! Britney's sister looks exactly like her and who the hell was that in the astronaut suit?

Yeah and I was so pissed about Nick too, along with was up with Seventh Heaven winning over Buffy? And Chris Rock winning over Adam Sandler. Bad choices, IMO.
