Hmm... no offense, to anyone, but the first episode really didn't interest me. So, I don't think I'll be watching the OC this fall But maybe if there's nothing else on and I catch an episode, I might join you all in a discussion or two...

Where to begin?The scen between Ryan, Sandy and Kirstin in the bginning was sweet and well done. I loved that they officially came right out and said they'd like to be Ryan's guardians.I'm glad he is now officially part of the Coen clan. Most of the episode really focused on Jimmy and his money issues. I kinda felt sorry for him when his credit card was declined but got over it when the guy started hitting him. I was like "hit him again" and he did. Then I said "one more time" and then he hit Sandy...guess I asked for too much. Was nice to see Ryan kinda of defending Sandy like that. Speaking of Luke just became public enemy number 1 in my book for hitting Ryan after Ryan specifically said he wasn't going to fight. I figured in the beginning I'd give Luke a shot because he revealed that he wasn't all bad after saving Ryan from the fire, but after tonight he's back on my shit list. I'm glad Marissa pisses him off as much as she does cause he deserves it. It's one thing to be jealous of some guy, but it's another to not trust you're girlfriend when she hasn't done a thing wrong. I know he said he trusted her, but I called BS on that after he said it. He was just trying to cover his own ass. And every scene between Ryan and Marissa from the "strap me up" scene in the beginning to the "jacket over the shoulders" moment at the end were flawless. When she was Showing Ryan how to dance it was like "HEAT" right there on the dance floor. I was so loving that. I also can't wait for the pool scene but I won't hold my breath because they've shown that exact same clip for the last 2 weeks and it has yet to show up. So I'll just wait patiently til next week.

Ok...Kris, I must be in the same boat as you! The only episode I've seen was the first one...which I loved. But it's on tonight? Hmm...I should watch it!
