I am so pissed at Meredith right now. So pissed. George is not a rebound guy! He's better than that!

I think I'm going to be physically ill; not enough brain bleach will eradicate those images from my mind. Ew.
And, I totally blame GEORGE for it too. At least Mereith was emotionally torn up. He looks like such a putz. HATED him.
Must. Scrub. My. Brain.

McSteamy HeatOn ''Grey's Anatomy,'' Addison's partner in adultery visits to try to win her back; meanwhile, George makes his big move on Meredith by Tim Stack Is it hot on Grey's Anatomy, or is it just me? It's true that I've been illin' like a villain for the past couple of days, fighting off a wicked sinus infection, but Grey's definitely upped the sex ante this week. (My illness is going to keep things a bit brief this time, but I'll still try and hit all the high points of the episode.) First, I'd like to see more dancing on Grey's Anatomy. Cristina and Burke's little opening dance-off was fantastic. This is where ER gets it wrong: Medical dramas can always use a good rump shaking. It offsets all the sickness and dying. And bomb threats. Second, we were introduced to McSteamy (Eric Dane), McDreamy's former best friend and the man Addison had an affair with. McSteamy is exactly what his nickname suggests: hot. Now, that shouldn't necessarily be a prerequisite for employment, but if I were running this hospital, I'd snatch him up right quick. Even with stitches in his face, the man looks good. Patrick Dempsey, you officially have competition. Third, a woman was brought into the ER experiencing spontaneous orgasms. While I'm still a little shocked they could show her, um, reactions on network television, I have to say this story line was amusing. Plus, in true Grey's fashion, the story started out somewhat over-the-top but eventually felt quite moving and real. Fourth, George (T.R. Knight) and Meredith are going to do the deed! Well, at least that's how it appears from what was hinted at this week and apparently confirmed in next week's preview. All we saw was George profess his love for Meredith (''I would never leave you. I would never hurt you. And I will never stop loving you.'') and then Meredith helped him remove his shirt. Damn you, Grey's Anatomy and your amazing cliff-hangers! That being said, it was a great moment, but I'm not sure how I feel about the two of them getting together. It's a little Ross and Rachel. All this and Meredith saw her father for the first time in 20 years! What did you think? Are you for or against George and Meredith hooking up? Do you wish Izzie and Alex would stop feeding the beast? And who's hotter: McDreamy or McSteamy? From: Entertainment Weekly

I was not liking how they did the whole George and Meredith sleeping together thing...just didn't like it. I don't know how to describe it but I was just saying "No!" the whole time! LOL!
McSteamy is CUTE!...but no McDreamy! I just read that the guy playing McSteamy is married to actress Rebecca Gayheart.

Hey, that's why he looked so familar. LOL I am a huge fan of Rebecca Gayheart. He helped her through a really rough time, so I like him! LOL Er, you should check out the writers blog; they connect the nasty!sex to Meredith meeting up with Daddy-o. www.greyswriters.com/Not sure if it makes anyone feel any better though. Not me because I totally saw it differently. Especially that poor George innocent crap. He KNOWS she's in an emotionally vulnerable place and has been for awhile; she totally blew him off earlier when he offered to take her out. She looked upset when he went to see her. He is so NOT innocent. But then I'm a George-hater, so...

I like George...but not after that...but she was just as much to blame cause she was vulnerable about the whole thing with her dad...but the whole thing is just NO! Just so digging how they did it.
ANd about Eric Dane...yeah, I read this article where Rebecca said how much he helped her out after the car accident.

I'm with you. They both are idiots, but I blame him more 'cause I'm sorry... he saw her and looked at her and he knew. He knew she was upset, but he didn't care 'cause he wanted her to know how he felt.
Meredith came off like a tramp though because she just seems to have random sex whenever she's upset, which is not exactly a trait that most root for.
In the end, both came off as being very selfish.

I agree completely. I kind of said it in next week's episodes thread, but come on. He knew she was upset. He knew she didn't care about him like that...she blew him off. He told Izzie that. He knows she doesn't love him. He knows she's in love with McDreamy. Come on! Meredith...love her, but this was a bit low even for her. Very bad! So, let me get this right...when I'm really upset about something, I should go sleep with some guy...the closest guy will do? Nice! First McDreamy, then the guy that couldn't get rid of his erection, and now George. And she had the nerve to call her mom a whore...guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, huh? I'm kind of disappointed with both of them.

Exactly; he knew. And, what boggles my mind is if he was just going to randomly tell her how he felt about her, why didn't he just ask her to come down stairs or something? Was there some reason that it needed to be IN HER BEDROOM? Unless, he was totally hoping it would lead to sex, which is what I think he wanted.
I just despise the way he came across because he saw her and he knew. He KNEW she was upset; she looked upset. Is he so selfish that he didn't notice? Or is it simply a matter of him just not caring?
Ugh!
The writers really need to find another way for Meredith to express her feelings than random sex, especially in this day and age. And, considering she is a DOCTOR. A one night stand once is one thing, but this is a consistant trait of hers. One of these days it's going to come back and bite her in the ass, but maybe that's where they're going with this?
