I'm slightly angry at the episode. Mostly because of the Alex and Addison thing. The whole intern-attending thing has been done, let it die. And if McSteamy isn;t going to teach Alex, and he's being a total ass to Addison what is his purpose on the show? to be annoying? so we have someone to hate? I don't know...
I'm gladd Izzie finally cashed that big ass cheque of hers. bout damn time and yay! she can scrub in again! life is back to normal. sort of.
I'm not going to started on the George thing. That requires more effort and eneergy than I have to spare right now.
And its offical. I hate Burktina.

Hey, be niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! I love Alex! I have no idea what you're talking about since I didn't watch Grey's. I actually forgot it was on, but by the time I remembered, I was too engrossed in watching Farscape dvds. LOL But I like Alex, so be nice, missy! What did George do?

I finally watched it yesterday and thought it was a good episode except for the Addison and Alex thing. I really wish they wouldn't go down that road. :shake I am watching the new one now though.

Dude they went down that road and I hate it. ITS BEEN DONE! LET IT DIE! they've already got 2 interns screwing attendings, they don't need another on. Gah.
And am I a robot because I didn't cry when George's dad die?

Yup, you're a robot!  I bawled, but the whole end was very reminisant of when my grandma had a stroke. We had to sit around a table with the doctors and come to that same conclusion.

that was my 7300th post. wow. when did i get so many and more importantly when did i stop counting?!
as for Georges dad. I was sad but I just didn't cry. maybe cause i knew it was coming the impact wasn't as big or amybe ive been so eomtionally drained by this show that my tear ducts refused to operate or maybe just maybe it wasn't as well done as when denny died and now i hold every sad moment on tv up to that moment and if it doesn't reach that levels of sadness i won't cry.
ore it could have been I was knitting at the same time i was slightly distracted by counting...

LOL I cried. I hate George and I cried. It was very well done. This show is really good at evoking emotion...
I loved the Alex/Addison thing though. I love Alex, so yeah, I'm for anything that gives him something to do.

Well, it's kind of hard since everyone is either an attending or an intern. LOL The only other option is doing the patient thing. I guess they could do like McVet, but that was a disaster and we never saw him because he wasn't at the hospital.

Yeah, that's true, but most of the important core stuff happens at the hospital...
I just don't think a 'ship between a regular character and someone not affiliated with the hospital would work. If they couldn't make McVet work...
Then again did they really try?

I dunno. I guess that could have been it, but with the way the show has been built, the only real core 'ships are those involved at the hospital.
But yeah, you probably are right that they didn't want to piss off a huge chunk of fans.

I get the whole needing the 'ship to be i nthe hospital, but they don't need to re-use the intern/attending thing over and over. bring i na cool nurse, or a new intern, dude! anything!
