medium low. more than 6 but less than 12 lol
no still have the tonsils. my doctor said cause it was the first time ive had tonsilitis since i was a kid that im fine but if it get it again within the year he'll refer me to an ear nose throat guy for a consult. it takes me along time to recover from almost everything so hes reluctant to put me through surgery since I reacted so positivly to the zithromax and the infection seems to have been a fluke. the first doctor i saw at the walk in clinic last wekend put me on the most useless antibiotics ever and what was a simple strep infection exploded all over the back of my throat lol

Walk in clinics suck; sometimes they make it worse, like in your case. I'm glad you still have your tonsils and are feeling much better. Hopefully, it won't happen again. Sore throats/ear aches are the absolute WORSE. I hate them. And, throat/ear/nose specialists suck. LOL (I say that 'cause I have inner ear/vertigo problems and I hate going to them, lol).

ear aches and sore throat tend to go hand in an hand with me lol. its really annoying cause i never get jsut one thing! gah!
at least i havent had alung infection in a while. but thats largly due inpart to me sucking it up and getting the flu shot every year and my doctor putting me on strong anti biotics verytime i get strep so it doesnt get the chance to migrate in to my lungs.

Same here. If my throat hurts, odds are my ears will start killing too and then I start whining and crying like a 5 year old. I have the pain tolerence of a gnant. I can not tolerate pain at all. Any kind of pain. It's sad.
I have non-active TB, so I know what you mean about worrying about your lungs... I have to get x-rayed twice a year. Blech.

Mmm... I blame it on stupid friend's sister who didn't think being around a person with TB was a bad thing... thusly never telling anyone, until I went to the doctor and tested positive for TB. 'Oops..' Blah. I like your reason better though.

No. I'll always have the TB germ in my lungs and I'll have to get lung x-rays twice a year for the rest of life and skin tests 6 times a year to make sure the TB is non-active.
Once it becomes non-active, it usually stays non-active, so I'm probably never going to get sick again. But I had to spend 2 months in isolation at the hospital and another 2 months at my house... it was fun. Everyone who came to see me had to wear masks and scrubs and I was in an isolation tent. Gah.
