Callie was awesome. Like when Meredith showed up while she was yammering with Finn, she was all "I'm leaving now for no apaprnet reason!" That was so funny.

But I wonder... is George using her to get over Meredith or his feelings for her genuine?

I don't think George is doing that either. I do think he's having a hard time realizing that he does really love her. It's kind of like he put it to Derek. He loved Meredith and I'm sure he's not feeling that same way, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love her. It's a different person and a different realtionship...thus a different love.
I think they did a better job with Callie in this episode. She was a little more easier to like. And that line with the "leaving with no apparent reason"...awesome! She had some good lines this week.

I'm not too concerned. I think they have finished with that story line. It has no where to go from here. Callie and George is far too cool to let it just be a rebound. not to mention they will have thier hands full with Mer/Der and Cristina/Burke and the whole Izzie break down thing.
