Oh right. Holidays... How was everyones? Get anything good? Any nights of drunken debachery? Survive the relatives?

earring. more earringers and shinier earrings ( i like earrings) money which was promtly spent on a new camera on boxing day (i was up at 4:30 am. I was impressed with myself). got som DVDs, some clothing, there a lit on my myspace blog but im too lazy to get it.

hoildays were good. quiet. my grandparents flew in so that was nice. I, and the rest of my immediate family, scored major brownie points cause my uncles is lazy lol. long story don't ask

My grandparents live in Barbados and they weren't going to come for the hoildays this year because its a long flight, and its very cold here (usualy. it was green xmas this year here.) but my mom convinced them to come since my sister and I have never had a christmas without them. no small feat concidering my sister and I are in our 20's and the grandparents have lived in a forgien country for nearly half my life. So they come, and we had gone to the apartment they rented for he duration of thier trip and put up a christmas tree and hung a few decorations so it would be festive when they arrived. insant hoilday no assembly required lol. 2 points for us.

My mom was then informed by my uncle who lives an hour away from my house that we were having christmas eve at his house instead of my grandparents apratment as we have orginially intended, but we still had to bring all the since his wife 'was too busy with the kids too deal with my little allergy.' my 'little allergy" is a life threatening allergy to pepper, the most common food subtance next to oh I don't know, water. - 1 point for himYes thats right people. My uncle did not want to deal with having to cook a meal that wouldn't KILL his eldest niece. there was still a pepper shaker on the table when we arrived ham, potatos, veggies and dinner rolls (thats right we had to bring the dinner rolls). - 1 more point for him but about 4 for us cause grampa loves ham. They didn't even have a bottle of wine or crown royal. -17 points for him. none gained for us cause we weren't aware not drinks were supposed to be brought. and hell hath no fury like a grampa who doesn't get his crown royal on christmas.

so we have dinner (not at the table. they didn't set one. -1 for him) on the santa plates my mom had the for sight to bring (+1 point!) watch old home movies of my mom and uncle when they were kids and we take out trek home. the long 1 hour trek home in order to start the preprations for the massive christmas dinner we had make for the next day. We made 2 large meals in 2 days. uncles family? none. +20 points for us -13 for them.

Apparently after we left the uncle made some rather hurtful remarks that I was not privey to but my grampa was not in a good mood when he spoke of the uncle on christmas day. I'm going to estimate that he lost about 27 points whereas we had a stocking for each grandparent, homemade shortbread cookies, a bottle of crown royal, my grandmothers favourite wine, and a perfectly done turkey with the best gravy ever made. Oh yeah, we came out on top lol

its all good. grampa coming to town tomorrow and he wants to have dinnwe with us first. no more singing the uncles praises

meh its over now.
