Read Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby. I finally managed to read it, and I just LOVEd it! The way he describes scenes is awesome.

Totally agree, Gastby is one of my favorite books of all time. This Side of Paradise, also by Fitzgerald, is rather good.
Right now I'm reading Seabiscuit.. haven't seen the movie in order to not spoil it, but I love the book! It's really, really interesting, and I'm not a big fan of sports books. But it's written so well and has you on the edge of your seat wondering who's gonna win the race..
