Okay... so I just went and saw this movie today and I'm kinda pissed. So, I'm gonna need someone who has read the books to tell me what the hell just happened?

I'm so confused at the end of this movie... is Peta okay? Or is he dead? Is all of their families (her sister and the guy) dead too?

I haven't seen the movie yet (:thud) but I've read the books. Peeta is not dead and I guess "is he ok" is kind of subjective. You'll see in Mockingjay what exactly happened to Peeta, but he's not dead.

How exactly did they end this movie? Since I'm sure it is different to some point than the book. Assuming you are talking about Gale, no...he's not dead either.
