Basically, I just enjoy it. The storylines are great, the characters are real, and it's just all around good television.

As a huge Buffy and Angel fan, I thought that I would pose this question to similar fans: Why do you watch Buffy and Angel? Is it just because you enjoy it? The actors in it? Or is it something more? I would love to hear all of your opinions! Ali |

Wow...good question. Why? Hmm...I just love the storylines, the entire concept of the supernatural, the characters...Spike and Angel.  Pretty much everything!

There are so many reasons I watch it... for starters ~ I love all of the characters, and I don't often love every single character in a show! I love how different they are... Buffy, well, she is an amazing character, Willow ~ she is pretty much my idol - I adore her character! Xander, he is so sweet, Tara (who I loved and miss!) was an angel, Spike, he is a complete babe, Giles ~ I have always liked for his wise words and attempts at being funny American style (which he just can't seem to get sometimes!) Dawn, who I think has developed into an amazing girl... and well, I could go on. I also love it because of the story lines ~ they are original, they are catchy, and they are never boring. Certainly, Joss Whedon could win the prize for the "most original show, and the most original demons!" ~ where does he get some of them from!? I love it, though. I also love Buffy because of the fact that I do not believe it can be given a genre ~ it can be terribly sad, terribly funny, terribly serious and terribly exciting. Also, it has had a few scary moments, too! I just think that I watch Buffy (and Angel, which I think I have left out a bit ~ more on that in another post when I have more time) is an amazing combination of so many things. I have watched Buffy since the second season. I love the mix of drama comedy and the supernatural storylines. I also really love all the characters and actors as well. I of course love Spuffy too and would just watch for them but luckily the whole show is amazing.   www.jaimebees.com |

I started watching Buffy at the very beginning. I was only 10 or when it first aired in Britain, i was yong and easily influenced so it quikly took over my life, LOL. I like it because it's comedic, it mixes sci-fi with real life isues, and the guys are just so damn fine, hehe. I'm totally and completely obsessed, i tink Buffy fans are way worse then Trekkies, LOL. |

It's fuinny, i loved buffy at the beginning, then angel split and i kinda of liked that but buffy more. and when it was the series finale on the WB i thought it was amazing and then i just stopped. that was weird, its kind of like roswell how i stopped when it left the WB. maybe thats the effect that the WB has on me. but i like angel because of the story line, cuz its supernatural, and just that i got into it on buffy. and once i get into a show i just watch it till the end cuz it gets more and more interesting as it goes on. though i really didnt think they did a good job on the 4th season on angel. the characters r also really kool, i just like it |
