I have such a good feeling about this "rumored" Faith spin-off. It would just be such a cool thing. First off Faith is a villain that's trying to get back on the right track, always cooler that a straight forward hero. She's got all these things she's done to redeem herself for. Another cool thing about Faith is she's never died (except that time with Buffy stabbing her), but she was only in a comma so that really doesn't count. Buffy however has died twice, which is getting a little crazy. Plus is Buffy even considered the slayer now? As I understood it, Buffy could die again and again and again and no slayer would be called to replace her. This indicates that Faith is the true chosen one for this generation. Making Buffy more of a fluke than anything else. So it would be cool to be back on track like that with a new show. Don't get me wrong I love Buffy to death, I just think it's time for a change.
I have no doubts that Eliza Dushku could pull it off. She's coming back to Angel next week and I've already witnessed people getting so freakin' excited, just cause they love the character. Plus how cool would it be to see Faith interacting with the scoobies that stay behind in the new Spin off. Anyone expect this new guy, Caleb to stick around for the new series, he supposedly evil but I think they could make a hero out of him.
