I'll try to fill ya in, but i just started watching in mid-season, but I'm catching up w/ the summer repeats on ABC and on ABC Family. So here's my best shot :lol :

Sydney Bristow works for SD6, supposedly a branch of the CIA. She was engaged to be married to Danny, but couldn't keep her SD6 life a secret from him. She told him and Sloane, the head of SD6, had him killed. She then realized that SD6 wasn't a part of the CIA and actually was the enemy she always thought she was fighting. She was almost killed by SD6 for telling Danny, but won back their trust by retrieveing something that SD6 wanted. She then went to CIA headquarters and became a double agent. After becoming a double agent, she finds out that her father is also a double agent working for the CIA in SD6.

She has two best friends, Will, a reporter, and Francie, I'm not sure what she does, I think she is a student. They believe that she works at an international bank and everytime she goes on a mission, they think she is on a business trip for the bank. Will becomes curious of Danny's death and investigates, which leads to his kidnapping when he becomes too close to the truth, and i missed some episodes so i don't know if he made it back or not. Francie was engaged but I think her fiancee turned out to be cheating on her w/ a man but i'm not too sure on that.

Vaughn is her handler for the CIA. At the end of the season, he was trapped in a room that quickly filled w/ water so we are left w/ the cliffhanger if he made it out or not.

Her mom was supposedly killed in a car accident but near the end of the season we find out that she was never killed and actually worked for the rivals of SD6, K Directorit (spelling?). In the season finale, we are left w/ the cliffhanger of her mom showing up whileSydney is being held captive.

I'm sure I missed a lot of stuff, but you can catch Alias on ABC Sundays at 9 (?) and on ABCFamily Fridays at 10.

Kristal...you've done a great summary! There is alot of great action scenes and frankly, it's nice to see a woman kick butt like Sydney does!
Plus, there is this underlying question of if/when Sydney and Vaughn will hook up. You just know they will somehow.

Hmmm.. well, a little confused. :lol :lol It's always hard watching a series and not understanding all the characters or even knowing who is who.

On the most part can I say it was ok. I'll have to watch some more eps to really understand it and or get hooked.

However, I did like the end where she was left hanging and being shot at.

I think she's cute. And I think the guy with the blonde hair is cute. (Is that the one you guys are referring to?)

Truthfully, at first it reminded me a bit of Felicity, with her roommate. But hey, I loved Felicity, so...

And I'm guessing no one knows her life. She's working for two different places? A bit confusing.

I think the blond guy you mean is Will. He is cute too.

No one knows about her being an agent, her room mate and Will think she works for an international bank. She works for the CIA as a double agent in SD6 and she is going to graduate school.

I hope that clears up at least a little of the confusion.

A little, although I think I've just got to watch more shows to really understand. Which btw I saw last night my second show of it and I saw the Vaughn (?) guy with the dark hair who is in with the Double agents too (I think) and her dad. That's who you guys are talking about right? Now he is damn adorable! :grin :grin I don't know I could see him and her together... :love :kiss (Oh and the blonde haired guy was cute, but not as hot as he is :lol )

Okay, watched tonights rerun. Hot damn it's really starting to get good. :lol The blonde hair guys name is Will, right? He got shot tonight. :(

So let's see he (Will) loves her and she sort of loves him too? And Vaughn is falling in love with her but she doesn't know?

Oh and the previews for this season came on with her mom returning. Real quick.. What happened to her mom? Why is she in search of her? And why is her mom going to kill her?:dunno

Her mom was supposedly dead for most of the season. Then, later, we kept hearing about "The Man" who was like the head honcho of this big organization like SD6. Her mom is "The Man". *gasp* yes that was a big shocker for me too. :lol .

Her mom only married her dad as part of a mission to get as much information on him as possible. She faked her death once her mission was complete. They are searching for her now because there was a prophecy from Rimbaldi saying that she would bring mass destruction or something equally as bad. The CIA thought the prophecy was talking about Sydney, but they were wrong. In the season finale Sydney comes face to face with her mom after all these years after being captured by the organization that she is boss of.

I think that covers it. :)

Oh, sure, now I find that out! :lol I just finished downloading Almost Thirty Years and I'm in the middle of downloading Rendezous! Oh well, I'll probably watch it again next Sunday just to watch all of them again to get me psyched!

OMG! I JUST finished watching "Almost Thirty Years!" OMG! All I can say is OMG! Frickin' Vaughn! Ok...without be spoilerish for those who haven't seen this epi...Vaughn is SUPER hot in the scene at the club with Sydney in that 3/4 length leather jacket. TO DIE FOR! And Sydney's mom! AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.! I want it to be Sunday NOW!
