Voted setup. It has to be. It all seems just too fishy to me. Someone has to be involved with it, ie. Sloane, Irena, Sark.
And I want to think it has something to do with the Rambaldi artifacts. Something unbelievable like Sloane said, maybe Time Travel? Or another dimension? :dunno

Because I always try to relate it to something that has happened in other movies/TV shows; In some shape or form it reminds me of the movie: Castaway and a few eppys in Felicity were the writers had Felicity un-do Noel's death by spilling her memories/emotions and finally letting Noel go.

This ending we saw to season two has me thinking is a hallucination. Heck it has to be tied into this whole Rambaldi search.

Remember before Syd's mother jumped off the building, she was telling Syd that Slone thinks he's the prophet & it's not her, but Syd. She begged Syd to believe that too.

I think that its a dream. there is not way in hell that vaughn would marry someone other than sydney no matter how long she was missing. i refuse to believe he is married. and if he is it had better not be to alice because that would totally suck. if he is married to alice or anyone else then i hope he divorces them so he can get back together with sydney.
I'm So DEVESTATED. I can't stop thinking about last nights episode.

I beg to differ. Vaughn would not refuse to move on from Sydney. If he has the kind of inner strength I think he does, he would, after mourning, force himself to move on. Syd, to all appearances, is gone. His life needs to move on. And if he met another woman who captivated him and made him smile, why wouldn't he pursue her? Clinging to the memory of a woman with whom you have no forseeable future is not a mark of true love, it is a mark of weakness. If he and Syd had been married for 40 years, and they were both old, and she vanished, and he never married again, I'd understand that. But this isn't one of those situations. To carry a torch for a dead woman indefinitely, when you're as young as he is, just isn't healthy.

:fight Hi, I'm one of the "she's been missing...Vaughn move on" people. I don't like it, but the man had a RING on his finger? After I saw the ring I was like "Oh hell!" I can't believe that Vaughn would move on so damn fast. I know he's a good looking guy and all but damn that guy has his wedding bells game face on. I'm figuring if he married anyone it was Alice. You know the conservative-type girl that could'nt hold a candle to Syd even if she became La Femme Nikita's little sister. Ok moving on past that. If it's been 2 years does that means Sloane has a few completed devices now and owns half the planet? And has Irina been assasinated by one of Sloane'd hired guns for betraying him? And is Will still fighting his addicting to heroine... oh wait that was a false story to fool SD-6. I miss SD-6. I miss Section 1. They had some cool set-ups. Moving on again.The main point I'm trying to make is that the Alias-verse as we know it could be a very different place two years later.A lot could have changed...ya know besides Vaughn jumping into "nuptual bliss" with the first hoochy that comes along. God, did I just say hoochy? I'm out!:silly

:fight I'm starting to wonder maybe Sloane had Sydney's house being watched, and then had his men move in to drug and abduct her. Then they took her to some far off location where she was brainwashed into completing missions for sloane (for you guessed it 2 years). Maybe these missions were ones only "the one" could complete. Maybe Sydney helped Sloane complete his dark designs and then was dropped when her part was completed. Damn, it's only friday and I've already come up with my first rant/theory. This is sure to be a long ass summer. DAMN YOU J.J!:silly

Ya gotta wonder what she's been doing for two years. Especially considering she thinks it was just yesterday that she killed Francie and Will was hurt. I'm sure Sloane had something to do with it. And I'm sure he's blackmailed Jack into helping him. He did make that comment that he would be working with him sooner than he thought..or something along those lines. So, I'm wondering what part Jack has in it. And what about Irina? The woman is just one big mystery. :dunno Now, do you think Sloane thought Sydney was the one or Irina after reading the manuscript? That was never touched on. Just that the CIA thought it was Sydney at first.

Heather- EXACTLY my point! Wouldn't it really throw the audience if who he is or will be changes to the other side? :dunno

Also, excellent point Cory. About her thinking it's only been the next day. My feeling is saying that Sloane told Jack that Syd wouldn't be involved in it- so maybe he put her to sleep for two years without any knowledge of what's happened.
