Not sure about the Chemists, but... I think the Egyptian name has to do with the river Nile in Egypt, which is also sometimes pronounced "denial" which has something to do with Bren and Maj being in denial about their relationship or something... not sure... I feel like an idiot :dunno :cry

Yup Jason and Shiri shippers got their name because of their chemistry onscreen. But Jason and Shiri never dated in real life.

Brendan and Majandra would deny they were together when they first started going out and yup that's where Egyptian came from because B&M were in the land of denial like the Nile river. Then denial started to stand for the B&M shippers who are in denial that even though they aren't together at the moment they will find their way back to each other.

Very strange, I know.
