Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Here are my disjointed thoughts on last night's ep:

- I noticed that they re-cast Jewel's brother between the pilot and this episode. I liked the original kid better. Oh well.

- We got a continuation of the love scene! Yeeaahhhh! :grinclap

- Loved how the maid is helping Jewel and Adam see each other. Adam was too cute when he went to the school's office and was like "am I in trouble?" :lol

- That was a pretty kick-ass cell phone that Jewel gave Adam, but I thought that he turned it down. Next thing you know, he's laying in bed talking to her on it.

- I can't wait til Larry exposes Tom Roam. His self-righteous attitude is extremely annoying. Besides, Larry should know that Sydney from Melrose Place is bad news.

- Vincent Cordone's lawyer looks creepier than he does.

- The first time Jewel told Adam to tell her a secret, something he's never told anyone before, it was sweet. The next 50 times it started to get old.

- When Larry saw the picture of Adam on Tom's desk and said, "good looking kid," that had to be the understatement of the century.

- Is it me or did Adam look even hotter in this episode than the pilot? :thud

Why do we have to wait another week for the next episode? I want to see it now! :lmao

I liked the original casting for Jewel's brother better too. Oh well, maybe the actor will be a bit better next episode!

The cell phone thing got me a little annoyed actually. The fight they had over it was so irritating! :lol Then again, I just hate watching them fight, so that's why I found it annoying.

I realllly hated Tom in this episode! Does anyone else hate him with a passion? :lol

Oh yeah! Adam *was* hotter in this episode! His hair is a bit longer. Laura, I totally agree with you!

I lurve Jewel! Ohmygosh! She is the coolest! And, she's so good to Adam. Ah, sweet lurve. Besides, how can they resist each other?!

On a last note (for now anyway), I HATE Adam's dad! What a jerk! A lying, fake, backstabbing loser! d00d. I'm even beginning to feel absolutely horrid for Adam's mum. She's cool, though a bit strict. I hope she catches them and gives them both a piece of her mind. And by "them", I mean Tom Roam and his secretary, Cynthia!

Jewel's Dad: verah cool! Yep, I like him. He's a pretty decent guy. :dance2

As for our loffly couple, they are just too cute! Can't wait for the next episode. Until then, keep the discussions coming! :grinclap

That's exactly what I was thinking, legOmYcoLin, his hair was a bit longer and that increased the hotness quotient! :lol I don't want it to get any longer because I think it's perfect as it is now.
I hate Tom Roam with passion too. UGH! Such a hypocrite. Since we've seen the animosity between the dads I think it would be interesting to see some interaction between Adam and Jewel's mothers to see how they react to one another.

But a question for anyone who knows: I missed the scene where she gives him the cell phone and the subsequent one with Jewel and her parents, because my dad decided to call at the moment to discuss my "future." :tongue Did I miss anything pertinent?

Cell phone scene:
Jewel gives Adam back his shoes that she found under his bed. Then she tells him to close his eyes, and she runs behind the tree and calls him on the cell. She explains that it's for them to use and he says that he can't accept it because his dad says cell phones are for business, not teenagers, and he wants him to earn things and not take anything for granted. Jewel responds "you mean the way I do?"

Parents scene:
Jewel arrives home and her parents want to talk to her. They ask how school was and how the math test was and she says fine. They call her on it and tell her that her math teacher called wanting to know if she should fax the homework. She realizes she's busted and her father asks if it's safe to assume that her new boyfriend skipped school today also. He tells her that Roam served him with a subpoena. She turns to leave but her dad yells at her that she cannot walk out on her parents and if she wants to make her own choices she can pack up and leave. The three of them start screaming and Jewel is crying. Her parents tell her she has to choose to stop seeing Adam.

This eppie had me jumping out my bed...cuz of the makin love scene..and i was like OMG when he almost got caught. I also loved the way Jewel helped them see each other it was cute. But the whole cell phone thing i think it was a lil over thought...what i mean is..he didnt wanna take it and i understand that..but the vibe she got from him started that arguement..so..im just glad they made up..:grinclap

Welp..thats it for now..since i have to wait a week to see the next eppie.

Manda, ITA about the love scene. I really liked it But I saw Olivia Wilde on Craig Kilborn last night and she said what they actually shot was a lot hotter, more going on, but it was more than the network would allow so what we saw was much tamer. :mad I think they should show the unedited, uncensored version on FX! :grin

Okay I think I got everyone's names right. I always feel weird calling people by their screen names! :lol

I had a feeling it was hotter than what they showed..maybe it was because the scene was so dam n choppin..to me.. thank you :flowers for the heads up on it..that makes me angry that they did that.:mad
