Hey everyone don't forget today the movie(s) are released at Blockbuster to either rent or buy. I'll be renting it today and hopefully I'll get to watch it and then post my thoughts on it.  If you've already seen it, then spill. Likey or no likey?   Edited because when I was there I realized that Orange County was also released today. Anyhow, I picked them both up and will watch them both in the next few days and let you know what I think.

I saw The Shipping News not too long ago. I downloaded it off the net...it was different. I didn't mind it, but it takes alot for me to not like a movie for some reason. I haven't seen Orange County yet...but it looks good!

I haven't seen both of the movies yet, but I'm planning on watching Orange County sometime this week. I just bought the DVD. |

Okay...just finished watching Orange County (I downloaded it of the net since I'm too lazy to go rent it!). I thought it was pretty good! Loved the line "I'm just going to college, it's not like I'm leaving the planet!" LMAO! Okay, probably only Roswell people would see the humor in that and it may of not even been meant that way, but I laughed! I would say it is a definite rental! I miss Alex!

Cory, I would have to agree with you. I watched the Shipping News and it wasn't that spectacular IMO. You only see Jason what maybe 10 minutes worth throughout the entire film and the storyline was just well, stoopid.  I of course watched the first 30 minutes of Orange County last night and will watch the rest of it tonight. So far, it is really good. It is nice to see Alex up front. I missed him too. It's pretty darn funny. Loved the part with the counselor mixing up the two transcipts.  Go rent it!

Oh Jen, just wait...it gets better. Jack Black is frickin' hysterical! LMAO! Yeah...the only reason I even watched The Shipping News was because of JB and he really didn't have much in it.

I liked Orange County a lot.. people said it sucked, but I thought it was good! Colin did a great job..and one thing I LOVED about the movie was that his girlfriend was "real".. she wore pretty much no make-up and she was really smart and was an animal activist.. I loved it. Hehe. It was funny though, Jack Black is hilarious. The ending was cute too. Never saw The Shipping News.. |

| OMG! I really wanted to see it but then somehow figured the film was weird after I watched the trailer...so I didn't. Guess it doesn't make a difference though according to your statement, Bunnie. |

Orange County was pretty good but I never saw Shipping News. Doesn't really look like my kind of show anyway. I'm more into comedies and romance movies. |

Yeah, the Shipping News is different. The only reason I watched it was because of Jason. Although I do love Julianne Moore. But you really have to pay attention or else your lost. |
