Oh my goodness! Season wonderful flash fest! By far the best part of that eppy! They even showed Alex in the flashes. I thought TIIC thought that he never existed? Leave it to those idiots-ignore the fans, destroy the show, and then when it is too late to save the show, start to give the fans what they want. Unbelievable!

Some interesting things in this eppy:

Max without that stupid Village People leather outfit. Max, you should croak more often...please.

Liz back to "pre-streetwalker make-up". Thank GOD for that!

Liz turns into a serious drinker. Just like the rest of the Roswell fans I guess? You go girl!

Kyle shaves of those idiotic sideburns. It's about time.

Merris gets her final "face lift" with a "twist". Did you notice that when she blinked, about 50,000 wrinkles appeared? Morgan Fairchild has been under the knife so many times her lips no longer moved when she talked. Good riddance! Especially since in the last episode she said that "money can't buy youth", or something to that effect. Yeah, right!

Micahel tells a little story about when he met Isabel, and tries to "humanize" her. TATB have been trying to play the sympathy card with her all season. Didn't work then, doesn't work now. Hope Jesse turns her into the Feds. No one was more upset than I when she recovered. Damn it! How did the doctor ever find the bullet through all of that silicone?

Michael doesn't just tell Jesse that they are human/alien hybrids, but goes for the "Royal Four" story? Jesse must be filling out the divorce papers as we speak. If he has any sense.

The Kyle/Isabel scene was...weird. Are they trying to hook those two up now? Now that TATB have figured out that nobody likes Isabel, Jesse, or Isabel/Jesse? Please don't soil Kyle with Trashlite. Please.

When did Jim get the "new" ride? What happened to the pick-up truck? Or the Mustang? Is he moonlighting as a repo man?

Glad to know that Jesse hangs around with a revoked license doctor from the 'hood. Wonder what 'hood in Roswell he knew him from? Citrus street? And wouldn't he be at least five years older than Jesse to have gone through medical school and residency, in order to be a doctor, so then his license could be revoked? Maybe his license was revoked because he was caught playing doctor with Jesse?

And what is wrong with Michael? He has the torso of a couch potato and the head of a AIDS patient? He is not looking healthy. Although maybe its the hair. I don't know. Didn't seem all that broken up over Max's demise either. Maybe he was eyeing the Village People jacket? Must come with the throne or something.

Lucky that Michael and Iz just happen to share the same blood type? Or is it unlucky? Ask me again after a couple more drinks.

Did Majandra just phone it in? Or was it just me? At least she made mention of Amy. Who doesn't seem to mind that her underage daughter is skipping school, and meandering along the Eastern Seaboard? I guess as long as it is not in her Jetta, it is okay?

Loved the Max and Liz flashes as the plummeted out of the window. A- for content, F for filmmaking. (A- because it included scenes from seasons spew and flee.) Funny, it didn't look like they were jumping off the Sears Tower, but it sure took that long. I guess one of their new alien powers is to rewrite Newton's Law of Gravity?

Not a heinous eppy, not great either. Just blah.

Love,

Rick

Wow Rick, I'm a bit disappointed... I actually was thinking you would like it. Ohwell, always nice to be thrown for a loop :lol Well, my post is going to give you a major sugar rush compared to yours :rollin2 So here I go~

Beginning when Max died, I cried when Isabel wanted to go save him, however, I was a bit surprised at Michaels non-reaction to his death.

I loved the emotions when Jesse tried to help Isabel and punched Michael for the phone, good husband. I felt bad for him that he had to find out that way though.

I liked that even though Isabel lied to him and he was in shock over his wife being an alien, he did not go to the police, rather called a friend that could help her and kept the secret, good husband again.

*side note* to answer your question Rick, I think the doctor lost his license by giving out illegal prescriptions, that's what he said to Jesse anyhow, unless I misunderstood it.

Loved every part with Liz without exception ;) I loved how she mourned Max from the beginning. Her lines to Maria, I've lost everything from the past 3 years, how could you ever understand or something like that.. :cry :cry

I understood why she drank, it really happens, when someone so close to your soul/heart dies, a person flips over the deep edge.. and Maria should of just understood. In that situation, I would believe it does help. Drown those sorrows. Bury those feelings, gosh I'm a walking case for a shrink :lol :lol

I loved the part with Liz's reaction to discovering she still had powers. Great Acting! :love The window scene again :lol What's with the windows lately? LOL Great scenes! I loved the flashes as they were falling, and when Max saved her from the fall... I'm curious though, was it only Max having the flashes or both of them having them together?

Also, was it just me, or did Michael really heal Isabel.. I could of sworn his powers went up her arms from his hand and then she was okay, is he really a healer now? And poor Kyle, a bit weird with him trying to heal her, but an honest friend would do anything, nice to see him cry.

Loved all the scenes with Max and Liz. Him chasing her. Him telling her to kill him. Her not wanting too, saying she was sorry, but doing it anyway. :cry

Okay, things I didn't like to much:

All the scenes with Morgan F. Mostly, with her & Max getting together. *gag*

Disappointed in some of Michael & Maria's scenes tonight. Just not enough emotion.

Lastly, that I have to wait so long for another ep. *grrr*

Dear Rabbit,

I didn't hate this eppy. I just found it blah. Michael was blah, Maria was blah, Max was blah. Liz was good. Jesse was good when he hit Michael. Kyle was good. Jim was blah.

It just struck me as less emotional than it should have been. Not cold exactly. Just not "deep". I am not explaining my thoughts and feelings very well on this. Maybe I'm blah?

Love,

Eeyore

My love, NEVER! How could you ever think it? :lol Blah are the people who make the pulpy @#%$. :rollin2 I guess I was just surprised because Liz was so great with her emotions and feelings in this eppy, that you wouldn't be more for it. And all the flashes, were a such a great touch. LOL. I do however, agree with the blah's on Michael & Maria's scenes, they were a little less than great tonight.

OK...to me the episode was very exciting. I was crying from the beginning ...but there were some moments when I didn't understand why something was said.

for example...I understand Isabel was heartbroken by her brother being dead and all, but did any notice that shriek she let out outside of metchem? :barf

I'm not that much of an Isabel fan so when she got shot, :) I cried tears of joy :jump2 ! (:nono bad me huh)

I loved the part where Clayton/Max looked at his body and said "He must've worked out a lot" :rollin I totally didnt expect that! and the look he gave plastic bones :eek2 when he got all horny :up talk about hello!

Liz :o she did a great job at being highly emotional...especially when she was drunk...I went crazy when she fell on bum and started laughing at herself.

The only downside...there was so much that could've been explained...maybe in a couple of episodes maybe... Micheal the guys and the Snapple...where that whole scene where the guys in the white suits come in and take everything that micheal used. if we would have known from then that something was up we would have been more prepared. I think this whole "situation" came out of the blue... Obviously somebody is smoking some good gunja :smokin , cause they can only see what's happening with the story line in there own heads. :spank

One note- the part about the blood type..most likely Michael said he had that blood type was because he was the only other alien..do you think human and alien blood can mix? We don't really know, so I guess that's logical..anyways..
I liked the episode. I agree, Liz did a good job acting..and *sigh* I love Kyle...he's so nice..but I never understood when he first started liking Isabel, I'm surprised Jesse didn't get jealous when he was standing there watching them...Maria is a really cool best friend too, she cares a lot for Liz, but not much about poor Michey anymore..speaking of him...man, the story he told about that jackass teacher calling him a welfare punk..I was about to cry. He always gets shafted x_X;; I liked the flashbacks, and the whole ending with Liz "saving" Max..it was very..sugary cutesy makes ya wanna puke...but I love that kind of stuff. True love is so...romantic o_O I'm so glad he killed that plastic barbie doll, she was so...ugh...and eww, "No, Clayton! Don't stop!" Can't you tell he's going through some odd psychological problems? Oh well...as soon as she said, "You have to kill the one you love," I knew she was a goner. How predictable :3 I loved the expression on Max's face then though..haha, when "Clayton" was looking in the mirror, I kept saying to myself (pretending to be him): Man, I have such a nice body! Haha...hmm. Overall it was a good episode, Liz drunk was kind of funny..I was scared that she might've jumped out the window..
"I'm so sorry Max...I love you.." Awww..that was very cute. I love T.V. romances.

Well, I must say that I was very pleased with this episode. I am a hopless Dreamer and just the fact that Max and Liz are together is good enough for me. I know, I'm living in a dream world! I felt horrible for Liz while she seemed to be walking around completely numb from the fact that her soulmate was gone. How horrible! Oh, and how gross was it that Max (Clayton) was all of Merris! Yuck! But Hey, if you were going to die and then you had that body...hell, I'd use it too! :grin
I felt really bad for Kyle...the poor Buddha boy just couldn't heal Isabel, and that was actually really sad. :( But, of course, all is well in Isabel land! The feelings between Max and Liz were great! Just the fact that Max would want Liz to kill him so he couldn't hurt her is...beautiful (ya, I'm hopeless!) I can't believe they are putting the show on hiatus until the end of April! After this episode, I want more like it! Everytime I saw the commericals for the show taking Roswell's place, I grew more angry with the TPTB for being so stupid! I hate stupid people! :mad Oh well, lets hope for the remainder of the season to be just as emotion and action-packed as this one!
C.

I'm still on some freakish natural high from this episode? Maybe it was just my dreamer finally getting fed for the first time in oh, EVER! (I didn't start watching till the end of season one and I didn't become an obsessive dreamer till season two. Talk about brutal). I think I watched the end about 10 times, and all the parts with the flashes and the 'but I love her' I was acting like a stupid 12 year old girl about to meet a backside boy or some other annoying boyband equivialent. I had the most infectious good mood on Tuesday morning (Cause I live in Ontairo and I get Roswel Monday nights he he he) it was quite funny.

Hi there!

I can't agree that this was a great eppy and has been great for the past three shows. The down side to all this hype and buzz going on for the last remaining episodes it that the writers and directors don't have that much more to experiment b/c of all this crap about cancellation.

Chant Down Babylon revealed so much emotion that -- even by reading some spoilers I was brought to tears when watching the K/I & M/I scenes. They seemed to true and honest. I must say, I loved seeing Michael's vulnerable side and make me route for him and Isabel to be together. Yeah, sure Jesse doesn't get much cheering from the fans, but Michael and Isabel really opened a door to what they could have may work. I mean Maria's not really into him and it shows big time.

And may I direct your attention to Max and Liz. Liz ‘claimed they were finally equal', but that's not true…'cause let me do the math for you.
1. Max saved Liz from the fatal gunshot in the Pilot.
2. Max saved Liz by throwing the green shield, preventing her to taking the fatal fall Max did in Chant down Babylon.
3. Liz saved Max with a kiss, bringing him back to life.

There you have it…. it's 2 to 1 – in Max's favor.

"Hey,at all! I just saw CDB and i want ask you what mean STRAP ON A PAIR? i don't understood it because i'm italian."

It is a reference to a part of the male anatomy that comes as a pair. It means "be a man" or "start acting like a man."

Hope that helps.
