The time has come Roswell fans, majandra.com has reported that UPN has ordered to tear apart the set. Looking like BAAAD news? Yep. No set, no Roswell. Obviously UPN has no intention what so ever of picking up the series for a fourth season, even before seeing how "As If" and "The Random Years" will do in the tough Tuesday timeslot.
Although a fan campaign may not save the show this time, its always worth a try. The following is from Majandra's diary, and although she starts out being rational, she ends with her usual, hurtful self. If you're a Majandra fan, then I'm warning you...
January 20 + 21, 2002:
FEB 20TH
"News is the UPN has ordered the sets to be struck (that means to be torn apart) Bahhhd sign for you roswell lovers. So I may be out of a job, oh well onto the next. Those 14 hour days for 9 months straight did get a little taxing so Im looking forward to taking it easy. The TV thing was fun and I did it to know what it was like to do a drama but my curiosity has been fed and now Im gonna go back to what I know I like for sure. I think almost everybody else in the cast feels the same. While, to many, Roswell was a joyful thing to tune into once a week for an hour, those of us behind the scenes saw it as very much a job so we cant help but look at it as just that.
Thankful of course for what came of it but looking optimistically to be freed of its chaos. The best comparison is that of a Clothing store manager who really hopes to be a screenplay writer and live their dream. You have higher expectations for yourself even though many would kill to be in your position, you just didnt see YOURSELF living your life like that forever. See thats how actors and musicians exist, like vagabonds, tiring of the same old thing only to be inspired by something new and so on." (continued on February 21st)

"Its a field of creativity so once it becomes to much of a job job one feels the need to look elsewhere. Look at me going on as if its done for, but hey one must prepare no? Gotta tell ya its gonna be nice not having to wear that Maria clothing and that Maria face all the time. Whew. She was just so different from me it became a little frustrating after a while and one starts to feel robbed of their own personality and persona.
Time for a little Majandra yo. Heh. Well let's see about that, now without someone writing those lines that pleased some so much. UH OH. This should weed out the people that thought I was cool from those that really just liked the character I was contractually obliged to portray. I cant wait... p.s. No, Maria will not be touring the Sicks. I will. Glad thats clarified."

First of all Ms. MD Every year when the season is over they tear down the sets.. it does not mean that a or the shows will not return the next year. Second, they just took all those pictures yesturday, so how is it possible to be tearing down sets when they are not even finished filming yet?

what we need to do is to find the official site and see if the contracts for the actors/actresses have been renewed or not
