Hi guys. I'm new to this board. I go by AmandaB over on FF. Anyway I did some searching and found out that Swimfan is to be released as of now on August 9th. I can't wait. I'm a huge Shiri fan and am really excited that she has a significant role in a major motion picture. BTW how many post do I need to get before I become legal? I can't stand regular coke.

Well, I'd have to check on that one.. I know that once you get to 11 posts it changes to your first drink, but I think the title to it is sober (it's only one drink, lol) There is a thread on it in off topic I think.. they probably need to be changed as I think it takes several hundred to become legal.. I'll check on it in awhile and see what I can do Thanks so much for posting that too! I can't wait to see it! I love her as well! (on a side note) Now, if only Max would shape up a bit, all would be good

Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BTW how many post do I need to get before I become legal? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, sorry it took so long.. but here are the answers (I changed them a bit) To become legal is 2 drinks 1st post nothing  2-5 post- 1 coke 6-30 post- 1 drinks 31-100- 2 drinks 101-230- 3 drinks 231-400- 4 drinks 401-600- 5 drinks 601-800- 6 drinks 801-1000- 7 drinks 1st person to go over a thousand names the next drink (there is a thread for it in the Other than Roswell forum) And lastly, everyone who gets over 1000 can have their own personal title (also on that same thread.) Hope this answers the question a little better.  Edited because I screwed up a # sorry

I am so excited about her new movie cause she is not just
a minor character that has only 5 minutes of screen time on it
like somebody we know.
I heard that she also did her own stunt in this movie
I am not a big fan of thriller movies but if Shiri is there
I'm all for it. I know they will have a massive promotional
campaign for this movie Shiri will be all over the place for
sure.
I love Shiri Appleby among all the Roswell cast She is the
one that hook me up to Roswell in the first place she makes
me feel her character. Her anguish , pain her joy everything
that Makes Liz Parker of who she is.
I don't know if you've know about Hollywood love goddesses
I have the laser disc of this documentary and most members
includes Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman and other
famous actress and they have one thing in common they
have openness in them that relates to everyone and makes you want to protect them Shiri has all of this traits my husband who is an artist and a big hollywood junkie has
this verdict. Shiri is the next generation of those classic hollywood love goddesses she will go far make more movies that will make us remember her like her classic counterparts
and Roswell will be remembered as a show where she first
began.
I think her role in Swinfan is just perfect for her that is why
that Australian director Chooses her . You know what
will make Shiri shine more and hopefully might win her
an acting award is if she will star in the remake of Audrey
Hepburn "Wait until Dark". Those big eyes of her is the killer.

It's Swimfan the director told Shiri that they have to handcuff
her in a chair and be thrown in the deepest part of the pool
like 9 feet deep but she has like 2 divers on hand to assist her.
I think this was The scene psycho girl whose obsessed with
his boyfriend cornerd her.
And Shipping news I never get to watch it and have no intention to do so.

Not a big Kevin Spacey fan and. And it stars Jason Behr
I like the guy during season one but if the rumor is true
that he treated Shiri poorly on the set just because somebody is pressuring him to do so. I don't think he
deserves my support. I still love Max and Liz especially
the character of Liz I just hated everything they did to
her. Shiri is the only one whose very professional about her career even though Roswell is a low rated TV show the cast
must give everything they got .
I think the unprofessional talent of Mr. Behr is showing in his character as Max because he lets his personal feeling
towards Katherine Heigl bleeds into the show they're suppose
to act as brothers and sister not boyfriend and girlfriend . You know what not only was the writing of Roswell
that sucks sometimes (except for Change ep.12) but
but the attitude of some cast is also a big factor for the low rating. What they don't understand is that some big producers
and talent agency are still looking into shows like Roswell
and being a professional on the set counts a big resume
plus. The shows demise can also be blame to the cast who played the character of the story. Shiri will at least be blameless because we all knew she had been like a wallflower during the past episodes before Change. But when they threw her in the front again it feels like a coming home for most Roswell fan Shiri is the star of the show and it
is suposedly with Jason too why cant' he be like her.
