This from Fraz Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted this on the Max and Liz thread. I am sure you guys have spoilers for episode 10? But here is my post anyway. Eppy 9 titled "Samuel Rising" The other site that you cant name has almost I would say half or more of the script dialog. From Covina Todays filming included. Isabel the Christmas Nazi grilling a new assistant that the santas are not up to par. Michael is Santa Claus Maria and Liz drafted but not all that happy santa helper elves. Maria volunteered by Christmas Nazi to forget about Michael. Cant believe her luck now he is santa. Jesse mouth agap attitude of who is this Christmas Nazi and who did I marry this isnt my Isabel. Covina tonights filming as of 9pm pacific time still filming. Sweet ice skating scene Max and Liz sitting on bench together and then ice skating together and then it snows he brushes her cheek and a sweet moment. No dialog known only visual from the crowd. Then bring in the big crane camera for that panoramic epic shot of them on the ice. I have no clue if a kiss is filmed or not as of yet they are still taping this scene different ways. Liz wearing her hair down which is blown pretty when they skate together. Wearing a cream colored sweater and that blue button trench coat and jeans. Max wearing new hair style black crew shirt and leather jacket and dark green ribbed cargo pants. No gloves or hats on either one. THey have been filming the skating of Max and Liz for about 3 hours. Jason has on hockey skates and in between takes he is skating around him and shiri from the crowd are enjoying the scene and are very much friends filming and horsing around. Aparent still pics are taken of Jason the side of the ice with his hands on his hips smiling and also Jason and Shiri on a bench put there heads together and big smiles for a pic. I dont know more than that but again the dialog on the other site are hilarious. Fraz Found this at Crashdown. Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks to nuttymong for this I worked on Roswell three days... I have mid/long blonde hair 1 day they were filming the Christmas episode. Max is talking with the mother of some child who has some mental disorder. When Max reaches to touch the child he runs out into the middle of the street (I was on the other side of the street - leather jacket). Took a while to shoot because of the sun. Then they shoot at the christmas fair @ the park. Liz and Maria were dresses as Santa's helpers trying to take care of some unruly children... Brendan also dresses in a Santa suit. Later on the children find Santa kissing one of the dwarves and the children say that they're DOING IT!... thye run from Santa's cottage. New Years Episode - The crew looks for clues to something and they have to jump from party to party... I am in the New Years PArty, there is also a rave party that is filming today but they didn't need me for it. 2 days I worked on the New Years Episode on day 1 they dressed up the holding area as a Frat House, I was wit ha friend of mine and the director had us hold hands as BF and GF which we were fine with. Max makes his enterance into the party right as the Keg explodes and gets tons of people wet... there is also a guy that strips to his boxers drenched in beer dancing on the table. In another scene Maria and Micheal make their way into the pool room and some guy hits on Maria while Micheal asks a girl where the keg is. at that point we cross behind micheal. Micheal has something done to him where he gets set on fire and yells for Max's help. day 2 - Isabel trys to hook up Kyle at the Frat party with a girl named Bitsy (Frieda Jane)... in doing so she points out several alternatives... an extra got to make up her own name. Kyle and Bitsy hit it off on the couch while Isabel makes her way to the bar (Where I am). Later on in the day we're driven to a Drive -In Reasuturant location... two girls get approached by two guys, I didn't really know the premise for that because I was far away. Then I was asked to play frisbee with James ross who is Daryl in the episode. Max asks Daryl mid-game where the party is and James laughs at him, then Isabel calls Max over to look for a clue... side note: I brought my CDs (www.chonkland.com Please don't email the webmaster of this site. ) for the extras I met and for any of the principals I met... well I stopped Brendan to give him a CD and he was REALLY sweet, he asked me my name and was totally stoked I gave him something which wasn't the impression I got of him when he was walking around... totally nice guy. When I stopped Katherine however, she was very grumpy, and it's weire because she was smiling the entire day having a great time. Oh well. I spoke with JAson too for a tad about his old roles on Dawson's Creek. He seemed cool enough. The episode I described is # 310 A Tale of Two Parties Directed by Allan Kroeker. More FF: SAMUEL RISING, Episode 3.9[/b] October 30th Written By: ? Directed by Patrick Norris [/b] Teaser: It's the return of the Christmas Natzi. Isabel is giving Liz and Maria an "assignment". She says she has the perfect thing for the both of them. Maria and Liz are pretty excited, and agree to meet Isabel at the park at three. Max looks over at a little boy named Samuel who gets up and walks over to Max. Samuel's mom, Rebecca, gets up and follows him, asking him where he's going. Samuel gets right up to Max and says, "Daddy." Max is a little freaked out, and tells Samuel that he's got the wrong guy. Rebecca asks if Samuel said something to Max, and he tells her what Samuel said. Rebecca says that's impossible; her son doesn't talk. Scene 5: Kyle is saying "no" to something, and asks Jim not to raise his shirt, because he doesn't want to be the kind of father and son who evaluate each other's love handles, if that would be alright. "Sure, sure." says Jim, and reminds Kyle that there are three days until Christmas. Jim says that the place is going to be clean. Kyle says he's going to go to his room and "look within". He leaves, and Jim goes back to the shelves. Max is outside of Rebecca's and Samuel's home. She opens the door and looks at Max, curious. He says that he keeps on thingking about what happened this morning. He looks inside and sees Samuel sitting on the floor, drawing intently. Max says that he was wondering if he could help her son. She is doubtful at first, and tells him that if he wants to work with children he should start with something less challenging. Max says that he doesn't want to work with children, he wants to help her son. She looks at him for a moment, wondering if he is a nut or an angel, and finally invites him inside. Scene 6: Inside Jesse's and Isabel's. The place is very nicely decorated; sophisticated. Isabel walks into find Jesse hanging an ugly brown stoking on the mantel. She is repulsed by it. Scene 8: Isabel is looking at potential Santas, much like a drill seargant. Joy, the event organizer under Isabel's rule, looks on nervously with Jesse. The Santas "ho ho ho " for Isabel. She walks over to Joy and says that she needs to see more Santas. Joy protestes, but Isabel won't hear of it. She sees Liz and Maria (seven minutes late) off in the distance and tells Joy to call her later. Joy calls Isabel "Christmas Natzi", and Jesse wonders what he has married. Isabel holds up to small elf costumes to Liz and Maria. They think she must be joking. Isabel says that Maria is Snowflake and Liz is Cinnamon. Liz says that they wanted to give of themselves, but not as elves. Maria says that they wanted to make a real contribution, not deal with annoying kids cutting in the Santa line. "There are no small assignments only small volunteers. And you two are the only volunteers small enough to fit into the elf costumes." says Isabel. Liz and Maria are annoyed. Scene 9: Max sits outside of a Developmental Pyschologist's office and listens to what is going on inside. Rebecca is trying to convince Dr. Ramey of what happened. He says that he's not disputing what happened; they just need to figure out what these means. Inside the office, there are tons of toys, but Samuel ignores them all and continues to draw numbers on sheets of construction paper. Samuel's mother Rebecca and father Warren are meeting with Dr. Lynette Ramey, a pleasant yet unemotional doctor. Rebecca is saying that this means that Samuel is growing and changing; trying to communicate with the outside world. Warren tells Rebecca to get real; they've had moments of false hope like this before. Rebecca tells him not to do this, don't take this away from her. Dr. Ramey interrupts and says that she just doesn't want them to get their hopes up. Rebecca insists that Samuel is different. She says that her son is still in there somewhere. Warren drops his head in frustration. It's clear that these two parents have two very different views of their son. Rebecca says that Max, the person that Samuel spoke to in the diner, is outside in the waiting room. Warren is surprised. Rebecca tells the doctor that she thought it might be helpful for her to observe Samuel with Max. Ramey says that it will be fine and brings Max in. Rebecca introduces Max to everyone. This is especially awkward for Warren and Max. Warren doesn't try to get past the awkwardness. Ramey asks Max to tell them what happend this morning. Max tells them what happened, and as he's talking Samuel gets up and hands Max a sheet of paper. Max tells him thank you. Now we're at the Turner's house. Max is taking the training wheels of of Samuel's bicycle. Rebecca is a little worried, but Max tells her that Samuel is just using the training wheels as a crutch. He lifts Samuel up on the bike, and he pedals away. Rebecca runs up to him and gives him a hug. We see that Warren has arrived and witnessed this whole scene. It's really awkward. Rebecca tells him hello. "Max." he says. There is a weird tension and jealousy coming from Warren. He tells Samuel that he found his blanket; it was at his place. He hands it to Samuel. No response. Warren lets it go. Max says that he should go and let them have some family time. Warren says it's okay; he has to work anyhow. Rebecca is surprised. There is immediate tension between her and Warren. They were going to take Samuel to see Santa today, but Warren says he is swamped and they'll have to wait until tomorrow. The argument continues while Max watches Samuel. Samuel is getting into a repetitive behaviour with his bicycle. Rebecca is arguing that tomorrow will be too busy; Samuel won't sit on Santa's lap when there are those kinds of crowds around. Warren says that Samuel wouldn't sit on Santa's lap anyway; he won't touch people. Rebecca says that they should at least go and pretend to be a family. Warren says that Samual doesn't care about Santa; he doesn't even know what Christmas is. Warren says he has to go to work. "See you Max," he calls as he walks off. Rebecca tries to hide her emotions and explain things to Max. He says that it's okay. Rebecca says that Warren's right; Samuel has never really sat on Santa's lap.Scene 12: Liz and Maria in their elf uniforms are trying to calm a group of impatient kids waiting for Santa. Maria says that her leotard keeps riding up on her, and Liz said that at least Maria doesn't have cinnamon sticks glued to her boobs. Maria says that they're doing all of this just to get away from Michael. A kid in the crowds yells at them, asking, "Where the hell is Santa?" Maria yells at the kids and suggest that they sing songs until Santa gets there. She and Liz start to sing Jingle Bells. They get booed by the children. A kid tells them to shut up. Another says that elves suck and they want Santa. All of the children start chanting "San-ta. San-ta." Suddenly a kid yells that Santa is coming. Liz and Maria turn to look, and sees a Santa in full outfit, with a black ski mask over his face. Maria asks why Santa's wearing a ski mask. "Because it's as cold as a witch's tit out here," answers Santa. He pulls of the mask to reveal Michael. "I am in hell." says Maria. "Ho, ho, ho," says Michael. He says that the regular Santa is in rehab so Isabel forced him to do it. He sits in Santa's chair and tells Snowflake to bring him a brat. Maria looks at him, annoyed. Scene 14: Jim has invited a twenty-something girl over for Christmas Eve dinner. Kyle is upset and asks if she's a groupie. Jim says that maybe he should have asked Kyle before he invited her. Kyle says to forget it. Jim trys again but Kyle tells him it's fine. Scene 15: Zeke is sitting on Michael's (Santa's) lap. Michael asks him if he's been a decent kid this year. Zeke says yes; he hasn't been busting his parent's balls at all, and his teacher's only a little. Michael says that a little is okay, and says he'll tell him what Santa will be getting him for Christmas. He looks on the list that Zeke's parents have filled out of what they've bought him for Christmas. "Raceway 5000. Dude! High five! Raceway 5000 rocks!" Maria and Liz are watching this. Liz comments that Michael's very good with kids. Maria says that this is making her want to jump his bones, which isn't exactly what she had in mind. Samuel, flanked by Rebecca and Max, approaches. Liz looks up, a little weirded out by this image; it looks like Max has joined this family. Liz walks up to them. Max introduces them. Liz bends down to Samuel but gets no response. Max says he was wondering if Liz could help them, since Samuel has a little problem waiting in lines. Liz says that she'll be right back. Max leads Samuel over to a table and starts talking to him quietly, making sure that no one can hear. He starts grilling him with questions about the picture he gave him. Max thinks that his son is inside of Samuel somewhere. He asks Samuel if something told him to draw this picture. He tells Samuel to think about this person. Samuel just sits there. Max reaches out and holds both of Samuel's hands. Samuel lets out a wild scream, and people start to stare. Max tries to calm Samuel down, but Samuel gets up and runs away from Max, towards the street. Max grabs for Samuel to keep him from going out into traffic. Samuel fights Max off and falls down to the sidewalk. Rebecca runs up jus then and sees Samuel's head covered with blood. Max tries to explain but Rebecca doesn't want to hear it. She tells him to move away, and Max watches, helpless, and she gathers Samuel into her arms. Scene 17: Back at the Turner house, Rebecca and Max get out of Rebecca's car. Warren runs up, asking if Samuel's okay. Rebecca says that he's fine and gets Samuel out of the car. He's calm but really clingy to Rebecca. Warren asks what happened; apparently Rebecca's message made it sound like Samuel had cracked his head open. Rebecca says that it wasn't as bad as it looks. She turs to Max and says it's okay; he had his best interests at heart. We angle in on Max's face, and how untrue that really is. Rebecca and Samuel go inside to relax, leaving Warren and Max together, awkwardly. Warren asks Max what happened. Max says that Rebecca went inside for ice cream, and Samuel lost it. Warren says it's okay; he's been there many times himself. Max looks at Warren, finally getting some insight on him. Warren explains to Max why it looks like he's abandoned his family or whatever. He says that what Max has been doing for the past two days; Warren has been doing for the past seven years. Wildly looking for signs of hope. Warren says that Samuel has spoken before (Max is surprised; he thought that he is the reason Samuel talked). Warren says that when Samuel was four, he said "Baskin Robbins". They held onto that hope for over a year. Warren says that he knows what Max is trying to do, but he's afraid he's looking for something that really isn't there. Max just listens.Scene 18: Max and Liz sit together in the same booth in the closed Crashdown as they did in the teaser. The drawing of Samuel's spaceship sits between them. Liz asks Max if he thinks what Warren says is true. Max says that Samuel's drawing of the ship must mean something. Liz examines the paper. Suddenly she realizes something. She points to a flying saucer on the mural on the Crashdown wall. It exactly matches Samuel's drawing. Max is horrified. He feels really guilty about what he tried to do to Samuel because he thought he was his son trying to communicate with him. And all the time it meant nothing. Liz asks Max what he's going to do now. Max avoids her gaze. She asks if he is going to walk away, and he replies that he doesn't know what else to do. Liz says that maybe Samuel knows that Max is different. Maybe there's something he is trying to say and he's looking for help to say it. Max considers this. Scene 19: It's Christmas Eve Day. Kyle opens the door to reveal Shelby Prine (22), Jim's groupie girlfriend. Kyle asks what she's doing here. "Didn't your father --" Shelby begins. Kyle says that his father is in the bedroom getting ready to see his lady friend. Then he puts it all together. "Ohhh." He says that he gets it all now, and it's fantastic. He always thought Shelby's mom was cute. Shelby is confused. "Sorry, that's probably not politically correct. So, your mom and my dad." Kyle turns and sees his father. "I see you two met," says Jim. Shelby agrees then walks up to Jim. They kiss. Kyle is dumbstruck. Scene 20: At Jesse's and Isabel's apartment. Jesse is watching the game and cheering it on. Isabel enters and says that they've got a full day planned, so they'd better go. Jesse says that he's just going to stay home. Isabel says that it's Christmas Eve Day and they've got two dinners, three charity events, and a midnight mass. Jesse says that he loves her but she's driving him insane with all of these charity events and obsessing. Isabel says that they're starting their Christmas traditions. Jesse corrects her. "No, we're starting your Christmas traditions." Scene 21: Max has asked Liz to go somewhere with him. She says she's sorry but she can't, since she's an indentured elf until Christmas. She says they'll go another time. Kyle looks at Shelby and Valenti walking together, talking obviously in some sort of intense conversation. She gently touches his forearm and they laugh, happy. Kyle takes this in. Michael sits on his Santa throne, the audience loving him. He's talking to a little boy, Paul. They talk about football and hockey. Michael tells "Snowflake" to fetch him a Snapple. "What?" says Maria. Michael says that he's been talking all afternoon and he's as dry as a bone. "Michael, there is no way --" starts Maria. Michael says that he's not Michael; he's Santa. He asks Paul if he thinks Snowflake should fetch Santa a Snapple. Paul says of course she should; she's an elf. Scene 23: Michael and Maria are kissing hotly. Michael starts to fall on top of Maria just as the doors fly open. Paul starts screeching that Santa is kissing Snowflake. Michael swears. Maria tells Michael to get off her. "I can't. I'm stuck. I'm a stocking stuffer." says Michael. They try to get up but it's difficult because of Michael's stuffed Santa outfit. Kids are gathering. "Mommy, Santa and Snowflake are doing it! They're doing it!" screeches Paul. Liz sticks her head in. "Oh my God!" Maria tells "Cinnamon" to cover for them. Liz starts to close the doors when a hand reaches in. It's their worst nightmare. Isabel. She says that they both disgust her and they're both fired. "And you begged me to be Santa," she says to Michael. "You what?" asked Maria, looking at Michael. He's silent, caught in a lie. Scene 24: Max stands outside the Turner house, thoughtful. It's late. Most of the lights in the house are out. Scene 36: Kyle and Jim are talking about the Shelby situation. Kyle says that his only request is that if they go to "the next level" that they keep it out of the house. Kyle says that whatever Jim may or may not be doing with Shelby behind closed doors is okay with him as long as he doesn't know about it. Jim is about to say something when Shelby walks in, wearing only a man's shirt. Kyle is freaked out. "That's my shirt. Oh my God, you're wearing my shirt." Jim says that it's not his shirt. Kyle keeps saying, "My shirt, my shirt." Jim realizes that it is Kyle's shirt and says that it must have gotten mixed up in the wash. He's sorry. "It's okay. I'm just trying to minimize my psychological trauma here, okay? I would really appreciate it if you'd return my shirt to me, okay?" Shelby starts to unbutton the shirt. "Not now!" Jim and Kyle both yell. Scene 37: The door to the apartment opens and Jesse walks in, still not happy. He stops, seeing the mantle with his brown stocking hung up next to Isabel's perfect one. Isabel says that she's sorry, and she's cancelled all of their appointments for the day. She wants to see Jesse's way of doing Christmas. "Why?" asks Jesse. Isabel says that Christmas is about family, and Jesse is her family now. "So, to the couch?" |
