In my honest opinion, I don't think Tess was truely evil. It was more based on the fact that she was raised by a killer and was given orders on what to do. She was told that Max was her true soulmate, according to destiny, and she was to bring back the pod squad, including Max's baby inside her stomach. So, she was a :censor , yes, and she was quite a little devious one at that, betraying all of them, and doing it so well by playing the blonde doll that seemed to want to be everyone's friend until she got what she wanted. She had them all fooled, because she was following orders, what she was supposed to do.

All in all, I just think she was just a cheap and misguided being. But not truely evil, although maybe just a little because of her mindwarping games and poor Alex :cry2

Although, when I first layed eyes on Tess, in the first episode I ever saw, The White Room, I didn't like her one bit :tongue

Cheap floozy comes to mind. I never believed she was a true part of the pod squad. Those were memories she planted herself. And the "I was raised by a psycho" was so lame. She could have done whatever she wanted after he died but she continued trying to make everyone miserable. Because that was her main goal and her main purpose on the show.

I could go on and on, but I *do* have to be at work early tomorrow morning, and if I keep going I won't be done by then.

Awe yes the big Trash debate. :lol

There is so much to cover but I haven't really felt like going through all of it again.

I still don't believe that her and Nasado were all that close. The way they introduced the characters to begin with was very fishy. It felt like a huge setup. I still don't really believe that Nasado was actually their protector or Trash was really part of the royal four.

I think the writers just really jumbled the whole thing up. Maybe originally they planned to create the whole Royal four thing and then decided to make waves between M&L, realizing this backfired on them :lol they made her an enemy. But to me, she was all along.I guess I just didn't buy the whole thing to begin with.

I also don't believe that who ever raises you has the total effect of who you turn into. Sure parents instill a lot of your core self, but ultimately we all turn into who we are seperately.

For example, some kids come from horrible circumstances being beaten or alcholic (like Hank was with Michael for ex.) and that doesn't neccessairly mean that he turned out evil, because he didn't. So I would not place any blame on Nasaso for Trash's outcome. ;)

Trash is, was, and always will be pure evil in my eyes. She came to town and purposely and selfishly messed up everyone's lives. Then to find out it was all to get Max, Isabel, and Michael back to Antar just to pick them off. Nice. She had her plan along and you could see right through her. People thought Isabel was fake...no, it was Tess. Everything about her screamed fake. Grr! :mad Ok...I can't discuss her anymore...my head wants to explode just thinking about how she messed everything up for M/L! :censor

Ugh..Tess..I can't think of ANYONE who is her fan..I don't think I ever felt sorry for her..she's one of those people who just screams and cries and yells "aww, poor me! Poor poor me! Pity me because my life sucks!" People like that are so...argg. Anyways, you can't really blame Tess herself but more the writers for making her such an unlovable character. I hate Tess's *character*, but I'll never hate the person who plays her..Emilie whatever..I'm sure she's a nice person ^_^ I just hope no one would go an attack her and bite her if they ever met her ._.

Emilie De Ravin is a great actress, she had a reaccuring role in the series 'Beastmaster' as well...

But Tess, her character, was complete trash. And Max sleeping with her... what was he thinking? Oh, yes, she was EASY. Unlike Liz. And that is my honest opinion. Liz had self-respect and dignity. Tess? Let me repeat. She was EASY.

Ugh! I still remember my reaction to that scene. Very nasty. Should have had a warning at the beginning of that episode.

I'm sure you did. Unless Jen is referring to something else, it's the scene in season 2 (forget with ep) where Max and Tess are studying together. They are sitting on the floor and Max has Tess's bare foot in his hands and he's massaging it as they talk. I am not someone who gets grossed out by feet (well, unless they are stinky, funky looking feet - my own feet are terribly cute ;) ) but that scene was just too gross. As if Tess wasn't bad enough, we had to see Max rubbing her feet. :shake

Nope, Laura; that would be the exact scene I was referring too. And it's not so much the feet thing either, it's that MAX was rubbing her feet. Now if Max were rubbing Liz's feet I would be totally fine with it.:grin :okay But that was not the case. Therefore, :barf :barf :barf :barf BLAH!

I dunno... but whatever stuff he smoked/sniffed/injected into himself that night sure worked. Those last few eppies of S2 were pretty disturbing... the foot rub, the sex, when they showed the two of them in the observatory with Max on top of Tess and both of them are naked... :barf :barf :barf

Damn and I thought I'd forgotten about those eps...
