Congratulations to both Emilie and Katherine, with both "Lost" and "Greys Anatomy" being nominated for Emmy Awards.
Emilie's series "Lost" was nominated a staggering twelve times including for Best Drama, Best Director for a Drama, Best Casting for a Drama, two nominations for Best Supporting Actor, two nominations for Best Writing for a Drama Series as well as a number of technical and FX nominations.
Katie's series "Grey's Anatomy" has three nominations including nominations for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama (Sandra Oh), Best Director for a Drama and Best Casting for a Drama.

Katherine Heigl has been attending the "Bodog Salutes The Troops" charity event in Honoluly, Hawaii over the weekend participating in a celebrity poker tournamnet and attending a music concert held for 8,000 military members and their families. More information and photos of Katie at both events can be found at Katherine Heigl Online** Grey's Anatomy, Katherine's TV show, will begin airing in the UK on August 29th at 10pm on UK Living ** Majandra is next going to co-star in writter and director Joe Adam's film I Remember along side Jamie-Lynn DiScala, Andrew Keegan and Haylie Duff. The film is listed as a thriller about a young girl who witnesses her parents execution style murder and picks up twelve years after the murders. This will be the second film that Majandra and Joe Adams have worked on, he was also the Casting Director for State's Evidence. Majandra's movie Don't Come Knocking will be screened at The Toronto Film Festival in September 2005. Don't Come Knocking is one of the twenty movies being screened that are considered to be "the cream of the festival circuit, sixteen of which will be North American premieres." according to the press release at Timeout (click me)

I am writing to let everyone who cares (oh, hey buddy) that I have taken a recurring gig on CSI:Miami as the new A/V Tech. Name. Dan Cooper. I've shot the first 2 episodes of the season and am scheduled to do the 3rd. It's just a recurring gig, one or two scenes a show, every couple or 3, 4 shows. It's been alot of fun and just saw Adam today for the first time and we had a nice talk since we haven't in awhile. I figured I would just keep all you up to date really since well you like to be. It's an open contract meaning they just call when they need me and I'll go when I can type deal. It's actually a really sweet gig in terms of the show, the quality and the amount of time required of me. I can still pursue movies and films since it's just episode by episode contract. So that's that. Now here's to that. And that. Maybe this? Aaaaaaand... this.

Colin has been cast as Dough Jarvis in a movie called "Alone With Her". A psychological story of voyeurism the movie is being produced by Tom and Bob Engelman noted for such films as The Mask, The Last Samurai.
Colin will also appear in the Tenacious D Movie: "The Pick of Destiny". The movie will be released in 2006. *** Emilie and Katherine have been paired together in a recent photoshoot for In Style Magazine. The magazine can be found in stores in September 2005.
