"Desire" - As the interns of Seattle Grace cram for their upcoming exam, the attendings vie for the Chief's position by tending to the chairman of the hospital board after he's admitted as a patient. Meanwhile, Burke struggles to involve Cristina in the wedding planning, things heat up between Addison and Alex, and Derek questions his relationship with Meredith, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, APRIL 26 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

and callie's unexplainable desent in to annoyingness, Slones continued presesnce depite adding no tension or intrest to anything, the chief becoming a whiny little man, and the total lack of Joe awesomness.

And now we know who hits Meredith; her father. Ugh. But at least it's him and not Derek.

i must have missed that part. i am glad its not Derek though. I would have been forced to boycott the show for one of two reason.

1. he hit her, she forgave him and life goes on as normal in which case I would be forced to write angry letters to the writers avout violence againest women, setting horrid examples to young women etc.. which would end in me no longer watching the show.

2. he hit her, she leaves him and there is no longer a mer/der 'ship, I get bored with the latest triangle, and lack of bailey coolness and find something else to watch on Thrusdays (perfably in the 9-9:30 slot as Scrubs is on at 9:30)

Niether option is very appealing

I think it happens in next week's episode because a friend of mine saw a preview for it and she said it was bad and Meredith looks stunned.

Yeah, it would destroy the core 'ship of Grey's, so glad they aren't that stupid, but I don't get why they'd consider Thatcher close to Meredith. He isn't. They should have said family member... close family member and we would have had like 2 or 3 choices.
