Figured this would be a great place for the moderators or admins to post updates, potential downtime and other concerns as well as give the general public a place to post their ideas and suggestions for the message board.

Great idea, baskiddball! Let's see, updates.. I fixed all the emoticons and transcripts for prior shows. Now, I'm working on fixing all the broken store links before moving onto adding the new shows. Lots of behind the scenes stuff. :lol

Well once we have a member base of well over 3000 members and you need to upgrade the servers, I envision the need for potential downtime. Looking forward to filling some of these new show forums.

I have a question: Over on ezBoard, the forum banners used to be a link to either the forum you were in or FD itself (depending on where you were coming from). Is it possible to have anything like it again? I mean, it's totally possible to navigate the board without but old habits die hard, you see... I keep klicking on the banners like mad. :lmao

Oh, it's possible? But nevermind, Bunnie, if it's only me... I don't want to ask for annyoing stuff, it's just a force of habit to click on it. :lol Especially since this place is fantastically linked, it's just out of habit that when I see the old banners I try to click them. :lol
I think we used to have it on ezBoard that when you were inside a thread or replying, the banner would take you to the forum you were in and when you were in the forum itself, not in a specific therad, the banner would take you to the main page. Or am I worng? :thinking Coming to think of it, actually it makes no sense like this, does it, seeing as how the link would have to take you to the same place regardless where you're coming from.
Or did it take to the main page? Maybe that was it, because I recall access was super easy, just click and whooosh. :) Teleported.

No, you are right. I also remember the banners as teleporters. :up
And it does make it alot easier... even for all the members who just haven't gotten here yet and/or don't know it. :drink

And you are correct in the theory that they can only be linked to one destination. So, it's just a matter of where you want it to land you when you click? :dunno :lmao

I'm thinking it was originally linked to the main forum list. But I want to make sure that won't screw you up if I do that? :dunno

I think you're right, especially since I try to click the banners the most when I am trying to access the main forum list and get all confused when I go nowhere. :lmao It'd be fine by me! :)

All of the stores are now fixed, linked and complete up to the most current season. :)

Moving on as I'm now in the process of updating and finishing the rest of our Transcript section.

Okay, all of the navigational buttons are updated in the Writers Realm now and all of the authors stories are now linked correctly! All links in Library and Twisted Reality are now fixed! :)
